magnifying-glassHow it Works

A comprehensive guide to understanding the vision.meme platform and how tax distribution creates value for both creators and holders.

The Tax Distribution System

Vision.meme uses an automated tax system built into every token at the protocol level. Here's how it works:

1. Tax Collection

Every time someone buys or sells a token created on vision.meme, a small percentage (the transfer tax) is automatically deducted from the transaction.

Example:

  • You set a 5% transfer tax

  • Someone buys 1,000 tokens

  • 50 tokens (5%) are collected as tax

  • 950 tokens are delivered to the buyer

2. Tax Distribution

The collected tax is automatically split according to the percentages you set when creating your token.

Common Distribution Models:

Creator-Focused (70/30):

  • 70% to creator wallet

  • 30% to all holders

  • Good for project development funding

Balanced (60/40):

  • 60% to creator wallet

  • 40% to all holders

  • Popular choice for most tokens

Holder-Focused (40/60):

  • 40% to creator wallet

  • 60% to all holders

  • Maximizes holder rewards

3. Optional Burning

You can configure a portion of the collected tax to be automatically burned (permanently removed from circulation).

Example with 10% Burn:

  • 5% total transfer tax

  • 10% of collected tax goes to burning

  • If 100 tokens are collected:

    • 10 tokens are burned

    • 90 tokens are distributed to creator/holders

Token Creation Process

Step 1: Configure Your Token

Basic Information:

  • Name (e.g., "Vision Meme")

  • Symbol (e.g., "VISION")

  • Decimals (usually 6 or 9)

  • Total Supply

Metadata:

  • Description

  • Image (optimized to 512x512 JPG automatically)

  • Social links (Twitter, Telegram, Website)

Step 2: Set Tax Parameters

Transfer Tax:

  • Range: 1-10% recommended

  • Higher tax = more rewards but may discourage trading

  • Lower tax = less rewards but more trading friendly

  • Sweet spot: 3-5% for most meme tokens

Distribution Split:

  • Set percentage to creators

  • Set percentage to holders

  • Total must equal 100%

Burn Percentage:

  • 0-100% of collected tax

  • Popular range: 10-25%

  • Higher burn = more deflationary

Step 3: Distribution Settings

Distribution Interval:

  • How often rewards are distributed

  • Options: 5m, 10m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 6h, 12h, 24h

  • Shorter intervals = more engagement

  • Longer intervals = lower gas costs

Minimum Holding Requirement:

  • Optional minimum tokens to receive rewards

  • Helps prevent dust attacks

  • Encourages meaningful holding

Percentage to Sell Per Distribution:

  • If reward token is SOL, collected tokens are sold automatically

  • Set percentage of balance to sell each interval

  • 25-50% is common

  • Lower percentage = more stable, gradual selling

Step 4: Deploy to Blockchain

  1. Review all settings

  2. Sign transaction with your wallet

  3. Token is deployed to Solana

  4. Receive your token mint address

  5. Token appears in your dashboard

The Distribution Wallet

What Is It?

Every token created on vision.meme gets its own dedicated distribution wallet. This wallet:

  • Collects taxes from all transactions

  • Holds tokens until distribution time

  • Automatically distributes rewards

  • Stores tokens designated for burning

How It Works

Collection Phase:

  1. Someone trades your token

  2. Tax is automatically sent to distribution wallet

  3. Wallet accumulates taxes between distributions

Distribution Phase:

  1. Distribution interval arrives (e.g., every 15 minutes)

  2. System calculates holder balances

  3. If reward token is SOL:

    • Configured percentage of tokens are sold for SOL

    • SOL is distributed proportionally to holders

    • Creator share is sent directly

  4. If reward token is the native token:

    • Tokens are distributed directly

  5. Burn percentage is permanently removed

Security:

  • Wallet is generated deterministically

  • Non-custodial (platform doesn't control it)

  • All transactions are on-chain and transparent

  • Balance viewable on Solana blockchain

Liquidity Management

Why Add Liquidity?

Adding liquidity enables:

  • Trading on decentralized exchanges

  • Price discovery

  • Holder growth

  • Reward distributions (when selling for SOL)

Creating a Liquidity Pool

Raydium CPMM (Constant Product Market Maker):

  • Most popular Solana DEX

  • High volume and visibility

  • Automatic DexScreener listing

Meteora:

  • Lower fees

  • Concentrated liquidity options

  • Good for stable prices

Steps:

  1. Go to "Add Liquidity" in your token dashboard

  2. Choose DEX (Raydium or Meteora)

  3. Enter token amount and SOL amount

  4. Sets initial price (SOL amount ÷ token amount)

  5. Sign transaction

  6. Pool is created and tokens are tradable

Example:

  • Add 500,000,000 tokens

  • Add 5 SOL

  • Initial price: 0.00000001 SOL per token

  • Initial market cap: ~$50 (if SOL = $100)

Holder Rewards

How Rewards Are Calculated

Rewards are distributed proportionally based on token holdings.

Formula:

Example:

  • You hold 10,000 tokens

  • Total holder supply: 1,000,000 tokens

  • Your share: 1% (10,000 ÷ 1,000,000)

  • If 1 SOL is distributed to holders

  • You receive: 0.01 SOL

Important Notes:

  • Creator wallet holdings don't count toward holder rewards

  • Distribution wallet holdings don't count

  • Liquidity pool holdings don't count

  • Only circulating tokens held by users count

Claiming Rewards

Automatic Distribution:

  • No claiming needed

  • Rewards sent directly to your wallet

  • Happens at configured intervals

  • Gas fees covered by platform

Tracking Rewards:

  • View in token dashboard

  • See distribution history

  • Monitor total rewards earned

  • Export reward statements

Token Burning

Why Burn Tokens?

Burning reduces total supply, creating several benefits:

  • Scarcity: Fewer tokens = potentially higher value

  • Deflationary: Counteracts selling pressure

  • Holder Value: Benefits all remaining holders

How Burning Works

Automatic Burns:

  1. Tax is collected

  2. Burn percentage is calculated

  3. Tokens are sent to burn address

  4. Tokens are permanently removed from circulation

  5. Recorded on blockchain

Burn Address:

  • Solana burn address: 1nc1nerator11111111111111111111111111111111

  • Tokens sent here are provably destroyed

  • Cannot be recovered

  • Viewable on Solana Explorer

Burn Statistics:

  • Total tokens burned

  • Burn rate over time

  • Percentage of supply burned

  • Individual burn transactions

  • Show burn statistics

  • Demonstrate liquidity locks

For Holders

Before Buying:

  • Check token creator's wallet address

  • Review tax percentages and splits

  • Verify liquidity amount

  • Check if metadata is immutable
