Getting Started
How do I create a meme token on vision.meme?
Connect your Solana wallet
Click "Create Token"
Fill in your token details (name, symbol, image)
Configure tax and distribution settings
Review and sign the transaction
Your token is deployed to Solana instantly
The entire process takes just a few minutes and requires no coding knowledge.
What wallet do I need?
You need a Solana-compatible wallet such as:
Phantom (recommended)
Solflare
Backpack
Any wallet supporting Solana and Token-2022
Make sure your wallet has enough SOL to cover:
Token creation fee
Blockchain transaction fees (gas)
Optional: liquidity addition and featured placement
How much SOL do I need?
Minimum Requirements:
Token creation: ~0.1 SOL
Blockchain fees: ~0.01 SOL
Total for basic token: ~0.11 SOL
Optional Costs:
Adding liquidity: Variable (depends on your initial liquidity amount)
Featured placement: 0.3 SOL per day
Additional transactions: ~0.01 SOL each
Tax & Distribution
What is the transfer tax and how does it work?
The transfer tax is a percentage automatically deducted from every buy and sell transaction. This tax is then distributed according to your configured settings.
Example with 5% tax:
Someone buys 1,000 tokens
50 tokens (5%) are collected as tax
Buyer receives 950 tokens
Tax goes to distribution wallet
At next distribution interval, tax is split between creator and holders
Recommended tax rates:
1-3%: Low friction, trading-friendly
4-6%: Balanced rewards and trading
7-10%: High rewards, may reduce trading volume
How is the tax distributed?
The collected tax is split based on your configuration:
Distribution Split Example (60/40):
60% goes to creator wallet (you)
40% goes to all token holders proportionally
Optional Burns:
You can set 0-100% of collected tax to be burned
Burned tokens are permanently removed from circulation
Reduces total supply over time (deflationary)
Example with 10% burn:
100 tokens collected as tax
10 tokens burned (10%)
90 tokens distributed
54 tokens to creator (60% of 90)
36 tokens to holders (40% of 90)
Can I change the tax distribution after creation?
It depends on your settings:
If you set transferFeeAdjustable: true:
Yes, you can adjust tax percentages later
Change through token dashboard or API
Useful for adapting to market conditions
If you set transferFeeAdjustable: false:
No, tax settings are permanent
Provides maximum trust and transparency
Recommended for community tokens

How often are holder rewards distributed?
You choose the distribution interval when creating your token:
Available Intervals:
5 minutes (very active)
10 minutes
15 minutes (popular choice)
30 minutes
1 hour
6 hours
12 hours
24 hours (daily)
Factors to consider:
Shorter intervals = more engagement, higher gas costs
Longer intervals = less gas, accumulated rewards
Most meme tokens use 15-30 minutes for good balance
Do I need to claim my holder rewards?
No, rewards are automatic!
Rewards are sent directly to your wallet
No claiming or manual action needed
Distributions happen automatically at set intervals
You'll see SOL (or tokens) appear in your wallet
Requirements to receive rewards:
Hold the minimum required amount (if set)
Wallet is not the creator wallet
Wallet is not the distribution wallet
Wallet is not a liquidity pool
How are holder rewards calculated?
Rewards are distributed proportionally based on holdings:

You hold: 100,000 tokens
Total holder supply: 10,000,000 tokens
Your share: 1%
Rewards to distribute: 10 SOL
You receive: 0.1 SOL
Important:
Only circulating supply counts (not creator, distribution, or LP holdings)
Proportional to your percentage of total holdings
No minimum if no holding requirement is set

How do I add liquidity to my token?
Via vision.meme Dashboard:
Go to your token dashboard
Click "Add Liquidity"
Choose DEX (Raydium or Meteora)
Enter token amount and SOL amount
Review initial price
Sign and submit transaction

Can I update my token's metadata?
It depends on your settings:
If you set immutableMetadata: false:
Yes, you can update description, social links, and image

If you set immutableMetadata: true:
No, metadata is permanently locked
Cannot change name, symbol, description, or image
Provides maximum trust for holders

How do I burn tokens?

Troubleshooting
My transaction failed. What should I do?
Common causes:
Insufficient SOL: Make sure you have enough SOL for fees
Network congestion: Wait and try again
Transaction expired: Recreate and submit within 5 minutes
Wallet issues: Refresh connection, try different browser
Steps to resolve:
Check your SOL balance
Refresh the page
